Happy Tuesday, y’all. Today I’ll be sharing and swatching Rare Beauty products and sharing my thoughts on these items. There is quite a bit so let’s get right into it, haha.

So here’s an overview of all the products I purchased and I will say now, I love every single one of them. haha.
The soufflés and lip balm are so nice and the soufflés are very velvety feeling and the balm is buildable which is nice. They look good on my skin as well which is a thing I was worried about especially the brighter shade.

Here’s all the products swatched to give an idea of what they look like on the skin.

Now this is where I wish I had swatched a different area of my cheek because they all look the same in hindsight so that’s my fault, but these are very pigmented and a little really goes a long way, but it is buildable just don’t be too heavy-handed, haha. The highlighter is apparently Selena’s favorite and I wanted to see how it would look on me and it is such a nice champagne color and it is, again, buildable just try to not be heavy-handed, but if highlighter is your thing, go wild, haha, no judgment here. 🙂

Here are all the lip oils swatched that I currently own (may have purchased the last three to complete the collection, do not judge. haha) and I love them all. I tried my best to get the shade just right when swatches these because if you didn’t know beforehand, these lip oils stain your lips for a good while and it was starting to almost blend together, but I think I did a decent job and giving each color their shine, haha.
My thoughts

Overall, I love how all the products blend smoothly into the skin and how buildable they are and a little goes a long way, too. While the lip oils do stain your lips, it doesn’t take days for it to come off like some other lip stains do which is also a pro if you don’t want it to last for a long time, but also works if you don’t mind the stain and keep it natural looking and subtle. Price wise, it is a bit high, but I feel it is still pretty affordable compared to other higher end brands that are ridiculously high, but it depends on if you’re on a budget or if you think it is worth the price or not. I think it’s at a middle ground when it comes to pricing, so I don’t mind it. Good quality, decent pricing, great pigmentation = a happy consumer.
So those are my thoughts on the Rare Beauty lip oils/products, blush, and highlighter. I hope y’all enjoyed this post and if you’ve tried this brand, did you like it? if yes, what did you like about it? If no, what did you not like about it? I’d love to know in the comments below! 🙂
