July was a pretty busy month and I wasn’t able to capture every single moment as I wanted to be present and enjoy the moment, but was able to capture a few things and wanted to share with y’all. 🙂

Julio fue un mes ocupado y no pude capturar cada momento ya que quería estar presente y en el momento pero si pude capturar unas cuantas cositas que quería compartir con ustedes. 🙂

First things first, Hello :). it has been a while since I got back on here and I really need to stop doing this, but life happens, haha. I want to do more of these monthly recaps so why not start now? 🙂

Primero que nada, Hola. 🙂 ha sido un buen de tiempo que no entro aquí y la verdad necesito dejar de hacer eso, pero pues la vida sigue, jaja. Quiero hacer mas de este tipo de contenido así que porque no empezar ahora? 🙂

School / Escuela

This month I started my second rotation for Summer semester for my program and I loved this rotation. I liked the environment and the facility as a whole and I’m interested to see how things go in the Main OR once I get to that rotation. Once done with rotation 2, we took our final for our Summer class and are on our summer break and go back in a week or so. I’m definitely enjoying this time off and catching up on much needed sleep because once we go back in mid August, I just know I won’t get enough sleep or gym time in like before, but it’ll be worth it in the end. 🙂

este mes empece mi segunda rotación de mi semestre de verano en mi programa y ame esta rotación. Me gusto el ambiente y el edificio, sobre todo. Estoy interesada en saber como me va ir cuando toca ir al quirófano principal. Cuando terminamos la segunda rotación, tomamos nuestro examen final para el verano y estamos en vacaciones y regresamos en una semana, mas o menos. Estoy aprovechando este tiempo libre para recuperara el sueño perdido y ire al gimnasio porque se cuando regrese a clases para el otoño, no voy a dormir mucho y tampoco podré ir al gimnasio como quisiera jaja pero se que valdrá la pena todo. 🙂

Social Life / Vida Social

My social life wasn’t much this month, but I spent it with family and friends over the holiday and social events. I tried out a new-to-me restaurant with my bestie and we both enjoyed what we got. The appetizer I had ordered was so refreshing and the pasta I had was good, spicy, but good, haha. During my off days from school, I would work at the pharmacy and I have missed my pharmacy family and have fun even on the busiest/stressful days. This month was my little godsister’s quinceañera and that was a fun day spent with her and her family and my family as a whole. I went to the gym as much as I could this month and while it wasn’t as much as I’d like, it was better than nothing at all. This month was more relaxed in terms of going out and being social and I’m not mad about it, but hopefully August is a more social month. 🙂

Mi vida social no fue mucho este mes, pero me la pase con familia y amigos durante el día festivo del mes y eventos sociales. Este mes, mi mejor amiga y yo probamos un nuevo restaurante y nos gusto mucho la comida y las bebidas que pedimos. Me gusto el aperitivo que pedi, era refrescante, bueno para un día caliente, la verdad, y la pasta que ordené estaba buena, picosita, pero buena, jaja. Cuando no iba a la escuela, trabaje en la farmacia unos días y extrañé mis compañeras y nos divertimos todas aunque tengamos unos días ocupados/estresantes, siempre andamos en buenas risas y pláticas después. Este mes fue los quince de la ahijada de mis papas y fue un día divertido estando ahi celebrando su día especial con su familia y conviviendo con mi familia también. Fui al gimnasio cada que podía y aunque no fue tanto, lo bueno es que fui cuando podía ir que es mejor que nada, jaja. Este mes fue mas relajado y no me quejo, pero ojala en Agosto tendré un mes mas social. 🙂
